Privacy Policy
This policy explains what CryptoTaxWiki (cryptotaxwiki.com) collects and why. Short version: we collect as little as possible and we never sell data.
Calculators and tools
Our calculators run entirely in your browser. The numbers you type are not sent to us or to anyone else.
Email sign-up
If you sign up for the checklist and reminders, we store your email address, the date and the page you signed up on. We use it only to send the checklist and tax-season emails. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes your address from our list. We may use an email service provider to send emails; your address is shared with that provider only for that purpose. You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing hello@cryptotaxwiki.com.
The legal basis for this (for readers in the UK and EU) is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time.
Analytics
We may use privacy-friendly analytics to count page views and clicks on referral links (we record which program was clicked, not who clicked). If we use Google Analytics, it may set cookies; you can block them in your browser settings.
Referral links
When you click a referral link, the company you visit may set its own cookie to record that you came from us. Their privacy policy applies on their site.
Server logs
Our web host and Cloudflare keep standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and to keep the site running.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Questions: hello@cryptotaxwiki.com.
